Raised on a farm of the South of Italy, Pasquale is graduated with honors in agricultural science at the Catholic University of Piacenza (Italy).
He holds a Master of Science in agricultural economics at the University of Connecticut (USA). He was a consultant of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations for the High-level Capacity Building Programme on Policies and Strategies for Agriculture and Rural Development.
After the internship (bluebook) in DG AGRI of the European Commission, Pasquale is now policy advisor of Copa-Cogeca (European farmers and European agricooperatives) dealing with horizontal issues related to animal health and welfare, risk management in agriculture, and phytosanitary aspects.
