DRAFT Agenda of the Conference

Everyone is responsible

The conference will be opened by John Dalli, European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Policy, with an introduction from the Belgian Presidency of the EU.

The working sessions will explore the science and values guiding animal welfare education, methodologies for teaching animal welfare, and the role of the media in animal welfare education. There will be ample opportunity for the sharing of experience, and the conference will close with the award ceremony for the children's drawing and painting competition.
